Most Racinea are not that easy to grow. They need more moisture than most of the Tillandsias

I would suggest Tillandsia scaposa, you can clearly see the floral bracts of the inflorescence [/i]

I have seen Tillandsia barbeyana near Baños, Ecuador, and the plant looked very much the same, but the infl. and flowers didn't.

The infl. and flowers looks more like Tillandsia maculata Ruiz & Pav.
