So now I know I have to provide my baby Alcantarea plants with enough space as I planted them a bit too close!... and wait for flowers 8)!!!

Dear bromlovers, I have problems to identify this plant. I got it nearly two years ago as a Vriesea gigantea , but I think it is closer to an Alcantarea species... There is certain resemblance to A. imperialis , but not sure. It has got grass pups, & I have read it is characteristic to this spec...
