The 3rd days of blooming, the first flower has been opening.

Because I've never heard of any species of Orthphytum which has yellow flower before. So, when my Orthophytum supthutii that I've kept for year is going to bloom, I see the young flowering bubs are yellow :shock: I would like to see the literture or description of this species, please? http://i40.ph...

Eins meiner Puya mirabilis wird blühen, auch.
Ich habe eine Wahrscheinlichkeit, sie mit Dyckia marnier-lapostollei zu kreuzen,
das in der Blüte auch ist.

Ich möchte wissen, wie alt bin dein blühendes Deuterocohnia?

Gerfi gab mir eine Menge sein xeric brom auch und sie wachsen sehr gut hier.

I really surprise that in the BG Basel has a great collection of tropical exotic plants too!
I wonder if they prefer to exchange their xeric broms with some of my remarkable or rare tropical plants ?

Traurig, zu hören, daß du einige Betriebe verlorst.
Dein Samen-gewachsenes Deuterocohnia brevispicata sind durchaus verändern und haben sehr nette Färbung,
besonders dieses Rot, das mit dunklem Dorn bronzefarbig ist,
es muß ein sehr stattlicher Betrieb sein, wenn groß erhalten.

Nein! es schaut so gut Gerhard ! :shock: Aber, es scheint du verlorenes Dyckia fosteriana 'Silver Queen'? Bitte nicht sich sorgen, ich kann dir ein anderes, wenn ich den Welpen von meinem grossen Büschel abschneide, folgender Sommer schicken. Erinnerst du dich, dieses bist dein Sämling von Deuteroco...
