Hi Laszlo,

I think I got this one at home too. But very difficult to grow here in where I live (Khon Kaen, Thailand). Got as unknown name and never bloom. But I think I might be T.dudleyi, still not sure....but waiting for the experts to help !

Cheers,

Seth.

He he it was just the only name I could think of when you said "Peru, Cajamarca". And the plant looks really big thats why I think it might be T.dudleyi.....but still not sure.

P.S. Looks like they grow up so well where you live! (so jealous   ).

Best,

Seth.

????????

Beitrag von Lieselotte Hromadnik »

Hi forum, I wonder how you can use the name T. dudleyi for this plant ???

In Smith page 701 you see that T. dudleyi was only found in the cloudy forest of the Sierra Vilcabamba near Cuzco in Southern Peru. (Cajamarca is dry and in the North). The leafs should be ligulate and brown spotted and the drawings of the infloreszence don`t show any similarity with your plant.

Sorry ! Lieselotte
