Hi Brian,

I'm not an expert on Hechtia...but it does look like H. glomerata to me.

What other bromeliads are you growing in Taiwan?

Cheers, Andrew.

What neo's do you grow Brian? I bet they would like your tropical conditions
Do you have any photos?

Most of my collection is made up of neo's...but I have been growing a few Dyckia over the last couple of years, and must say I'm coming to like the spiny ones :thumbl

Thanks for the photos...and looking forward to seeing some others Brian.
Your unknown neo looks similar to Annick. Many neos came out of the cross of carolinae x Fireball that are variegated, & have some of that reddish flush.
These are a group of Annick, unfortunately they got a little burnt when I changed the plastic on my growing area.

And another similar carolinae x Fireball cross, these are Fire Wheel.

I'll sort out a few photos of some of my other plants, & show them in another post.
Cheers, Andrew.
