Deuterocohnia lotteae

Hi all, especially my spiney friends

Yesterday, one of my good friend came back form USA with a box of plant for me.
Amongst those neat xeric broms from great collections, I got one of the most sought after,
Deuterocohnia lotteae.

Here, the combo set of Bromeliads from USA that I received yesterday.


I got two clumps of Deut. lotteae, one with young flower buds, the silver leaf is Deut. lorentziana.






So I already potted them up this morning.


Another bigger clump which I hope it would set some seed pod.


Hey...JoachimInB...it's time to visit Thailand again....right?

This morning, I saw my plant perking up its flower,
so I tried to cross it with another Dyckias which are in bloom.
