Amongst its relative, I think Orth. benzingii is one of the most remarkable species.
The plant has a caulescent, upright stem habit.
This is a plant in my collection with a 3.5 feet tall stem, and may grow up to 4-5 feet when flowering

1 part of loam with leaf-mold
2 parts of pellet size pumice
2 parts of perlite
with 14-14-14 slow release fertilizer "Osmocote"
I feed my plant with regular 20-20-20 folia-fertilizer twice a month
And "Senagon" a kind of seaweed substant with help of growth.
