Neoregelia doubt

Hi everyone i am new here, I cultivate succulent plants, I've bought a beautiful Neoregelia, but I do not know this kind of plants, I kindly ask you some suggestion for the cultivation. I show you a picture of my Neoregelia Flandria, it is normal that in this period the rosette "cup" is brown ? looks like rotten.
