Chanin,
Yes and yes. Birds can be a burden(?) and we must be smarter than those fellows. But I keep on asking to myself: my holly Lord, u do have a lot of plants! Do u intent to sell them? your garden must be as large as our Cerrado.
Seedling and what is on a seedling? I use to say a seed may be a better choice than a plant. Sometimes I recieve plants from up North in such a misery that the plant takes ages at the IUC ( Intensive Unite Care) that a seed gets a much nicer plant into a year.
I´ve traded some plants here with fellows from up North and usually when I open the box they came in ........a seed into an envelope would do wounders.
So a seedling is a much better choice and opportunity for us to have healthy and nicer plants. Congratulations!
Also, i think that it is just amid your boxes that the most explendid Dyckia is. The perfect plant is a goal to be reached always, no one never reaches it but it is a challenge. I´ve found Dyckias all over the country but the most magnificent is always those we do make.
The highest hidden rocky mountain top is within your seed box! Believe it!
Ahead and up is always the direction!
yours sinceraly:
Constantino
