How do I tell if my bromeliad is terrestrial or epiphytic? I currently have it mounted to a piece of wood with peat and wire. Is this O.K

Well, one can tell you if you tell us WHAT kind of bromeliad it is.
In case you dont know the name, can you post a picture ?

It is possible to grow an epiphytic brom as a terrestial - if the potting mix is open enough - thou I don't know if Spanish moss grown that way would work
