Billbergia

I bought this Billbergia from a nursery as euphemiae purpurea, but it seems unlikely that it is. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? It has not flowered yet, I am hanging out for it :)

O boy , that dude pulled your leg !
That is definately a Neoregelia.
Note those pointed tips of the leaves, very typical.

Hi Timm,

I was also thought it was Billbergia too. Look at the pup looks like a Billbergia's pup. But the mother looks like Neoregelia. I think we have to wait and see the flower, right ?
