foliar feeding/heavy trichomed species
I have noticed that T. crocata and T. tectorum show a lack of trichomes on new growth weeks after an application of foliar fertilizer. T. scheideana seems to exhibit the same symptoms at times. Does anyone have any experience concerning which species are susceptible to this after feeding?

Timm, I use Grow More® 17-8-22
Total N - 17%
Ammoniacal N - 7.35%
Nitrate N - 9.55%
Water Insoluable Organic N - 0.10%
Available Phosphate - 8%
Available Potash - 22%
Chelated Iron 0.10%
Chelated manganese - 0.05%
Chelated Zinc - 0.05%
Recommended dose is 1.1 grams (1/4 tsp) every watering per gallon of water.
I use a slightly higher rate when applying with a 2.5 gallon backpack Birchmeier sprayer every month. As I said, some species exhibit a green "banding" on the newer leaves, slightly constricted.
