Beitrag von Fitólogo »

Hi all, Thank you for your help. This is the second post I'm doing after members from Australia, Moscow and Tim helped me.

I know now some plant names but still these are to be identified. If anyone knows about them please let me know

I've been searching every where the ID of these broms without success.
Sorry cause the photos are small, but you can check on the whole gallery, just look for www.imagebam.com/image/a1285c8175518 there you can access to BIGGER IMAGES.

1 - These are from Salvador area, they are huge plants, 50 to 60 cms wide and 1, 20 m high.

As you said some of the images are blurd, but I will have a go someone in this Bromelaid world may correct me.
Plant one Neroregelia species, I have a few, pretty common. Common name here in Australia lipstick.
Plant two Aechmea ?
Plant three Billbergia ?
Plant four ? and Plant five ?
Plant six Quesnelia laterals had to tell with no flower but you are'tn missing much the flower only lasts three days if your lucky.
Plant seven ? Plant eight Aechmea gamosepala if the flower spike was pink, or kertesziae turns brick- red colour
Plant nine Aechmea ? Plant ten Porta petropoliana flower spikes have faded a bit on your picture. Plant 11/12 ?
Someone else may help you fill in gaps.
