Tillandsia rescued
Hi,
I've just rescued this Tillandsia and I would love to know what specie it may be so I can look for more info on her.
What do you think of her aspect.? I think it might be a bit dehydrated...
Kind Regards,
Nuno

Good afternoon,
My unknown Tillandsias are flowering!!! I hope q can finally identify them...
This first photos are correspondent to the plant that I have showed previously:
This last picture was taken side by side with a Tea Box from Tetley as way to compare sizes.
This next pictures are related to other Tillandsias that I've rescued that were in massive clumps and were getting rot. They are smaller than the first one and I probably have 30 of them
This is both unknown Tillandsias plus a clump of Bergeris once again so you have an idea of the size of the unknown plants.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind Regards,
NUno Campos

You are right they do look different. It might be just natural variation within the species, however it could also just be cultivation difference (preceding your rescuing them) as I have noticed that the size of the flower spike on mine varies depending on the size of the leaf rosette at flowering time. As mine is all one clone this can only be due to cultivation difference. It will be interesting to see if the difference persists once you have had them a few seasons.
It is a lovely plant, one of my favourite Tillandsias as it was the first I ever grew.
