Deuterocohnia without species name
Verfasst: Dienstag, 28 Juni 2005, 20:06
Hi folks,
I am just transplanting all of my xerophytic bromeliads at the moment
(in a greenhouse with 38 to 40°C !! no kidding !)
and there are still a few that need a name.
Does anybody have an idea what this Deuterocohnia could be ?
This plant with the number 130001, Rauh (R:50822) was collected by
L. Hromadnik in Bolivia in 1979, north of Camargo, Dept. Chuquisaca
at 2500 m.
Her fieldnumber is HR5064.
Sorry for the poor quality, I will try to take some better pictures but my
camera is brandnew and I am still trying to get used to it.
I was thinking of something like Deuterocohnia digitata, but those digitatas I own allready, have different foliage.
I have saved some flowers in alcohol, if that would help anybody.
If you have any suggestions, let me know.
With best regards,
Timm
