How long did you have to wait for it to flower ?

Too sad that the inflorecence touched the ground,
I hope it did not break. We do have an australis of
that size too, but it is still not willing to coopertate

Thats very gorgeous one. I expect you have lots of Terrestrial Tillandsia.

I wonder what is the left side bromeliad in the first pic. Is that T.huarazensis ?

The inflorescence is doing just fine Timm. What I wanted to use as a prop was a forked branch but it kept tipping over
Seth, the tag has long been lost but I believe the plant in question is the small form of T. mima. I do have a few terrestrials but the bulk of my collection are epiphytes (300+ different species and hybrids). I will post some more photos of the terrestrials later today.

oh i see...thanks I just wondered because I love the fat Tillandsias lol.
